Happy Fall Y'All

As we say in Texas, Happy fall y'all. Let's talk about this weather. How perfect is it?!? I can bring out all of my wonderful clothes; and baby, fall looks good on me. Orange, brown, green, yellow are all in my color wheel of a wardrobe. My glasses are tortoise shell and my jewelry is gold. I am the exact definition of fall.
I can't believe I have let this much time get away from me. I have been enjoying my coffee in the mornings way too much. This is the time of year when people want to hear about deals anyway, so hopefully I popped into your inbox just in time for holiday shopping. If you are reading this, today is your lucky day. Hautelook is having a Tory Burch event going on right this very instant. I try to avoid buying for myself during the holiday season, but sometimes it's so hard to pass up a good deal. Also, Nordstrom has their fall event happening. It's happening. It's happening. You can save up to 40% off on amazing quality brands.
With all of the wedding planning, I have shopped very little for myself.. not counting fall candles and decor. Everything is literally so expensive. I am determined to stay under my budget. I refuse to let the wedding bliss pull me in. Maybe I'm typing it out to convince myself even more. I always ask questions and the typical response is "it's whatever you want." What does that even mean? I want to know what is supposed to happen and what things typically cost. I'm not the girl who dreamed up a wedding when I was 10 years old with my princess dress on and crown. I didn't even start to think about a wedding until Travis asked if I wanted to marry him. I always thought and dreamed about marrying him, and I guess I figured it would just happen at the snap of a finger. But before that finger can snap, you have to plan. and spend money. and let a girl figure out how expensive things really are. I think I ask people what I'm "supposed" to do, so I do nothing extra. Extra means more. I'm not extra, right?! Last night I had a conversation with a friend about wedding planning and finding a day of coordinator. I told her the amount I plan on spending for a coordinator and she literally laughed at me. When it comes to money and budget, she is water and I am oil. Or I'm whatever substance refuses to spend a dime. I told her the quote I received and her advice was to book immediately, and my first thought was "I can do this on my own". Let me tell you 'bout my best friend....
Anyway, so the only shopping I can do is thrift shopping. Sugar Land opened a brand new resale shop, Clothes Mentor, that I, of course, ventured in to. They have high-end brands and great quality thrifts.

The camouflage pants I bought were $12 from Clothes Mentor. They are Zara brand - originally around $50.

My under shirt is from Gap. It is one of the softest pieces of clothing that I own. I have linked it. I'm not sure how much I paid, but Gap always has good deals. Right now it's $30, but they are 50% off for card members.
Denim jacket is from Buffalo Exchange. I probably paid $15 for it. It is originally from Old Navy. I have linked a very similar denim jacket.
These TOMS shoes are my favorite for fall. My sister bought them for me for Christmas. I have linked a very similar pair. TOMS is currently having 25% off all boots. It would make them $68. I know that is more expensive than I like to pay; but I literally wear them throughout all of fall and winter.
My glasses are Ralph Lauren Polo and I bought them from EZ Contacts. I am literally blind, and wear them every single day, so I don't mind paying a little more to see. I like to find out about other people's glasses - in return, I have linked them.
Get to shopping and have a very happy holiday!
